to years spent, your head bent
on wisdom speakers hailing from those panels of delusion
your delusion starts
Where life just wouldn't match up
your payments couldn't catch up
crossing the line one illusion at a time
your life just couldn't match up
rebellion wouldn't add up
Is it the truth if you pay to get out of it
held in custody, you're looking for progress at the wrong address
ain't no prison if you pay to get out of it
you hit the streets, looking for progress at the wrong address
this crime scene's your geography of confusion
fuck the tales told, let the action unfold
on this map you charted, history's best left disregarded
you disregarded when
your life just couldn't match up
rebellion wouldn't add up
crossing the line, one illusion at a time
it's a dream, why should you let go
on the team that dares to say no

I know... late to the party.... but I read somewhere that this is a mixture of replacements and early GGD and thought I'd check it out.... really like it. Mully

At first I was a bit hesitant, thinking "This sounds like Paul Westerberg fronting Leatherface." and then I thought: "Paul Westerberg fronting Leatherface would be AWESOME." System_Error

The best record of this kind of music I heard in a long time! Almost every song is a hit! I love those noisy parts with the hidden dreamy melodies! If you need a reference: A mix of Pop Unknown and Jejune. But without being a copycat! You guys need a bass player for my taste. But don't let him interfere with your songwriting! This one goes to my perfect records collection, with records that have just perfect tones on it! Andreas Odendahl
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024

Who says the french can't do some proper emo? Also awesome album opening with the Stand by Me references. The tracks are absolutely banging and the whole album is worth listening to. dominikgray
